Applications are open for the 5th IAFFE Feminist Economics School, hosted by Okayama University in Okayama, Japan.

The programme is designed for people who have had limited access to formal training in feminist economics and who bring relevant professional, activist, social movement, research or academic experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend the full School, the IAFFE Pre-Conference and the Annual Conference.
• Participate in group-based and participatory learning activities.
• Engage with peers outside formal sessions as part of the learning experience.
• Set aside work commitments during the School and remain focused on the programme.
• Follow community protocols, including applicable safety protocols.

Requirements

• Have at least five years of professional work, activism or social movement experience in an area related to feminist economics; or
• Have completed at least three years of advanced graduate studies in a field related to feminist economics.
• Applicants should demonstrate genuine curiosity about and commitment to feminist economics, alongside relevant experience in their work, activism or research.
• A solid command of English is required to participate actively in workshops and engage with other participants.
