reach a place. Universities publish pass rates. Nobody publishes the share of their graduates who actually reach a first structured post. This section does. Every graduate who registers is asked once a month whether anything has changed, and the answers build an honest picture of which qualifications lead to work and how long the wait is.

A card nobody has touched for the best part of a year tells an employer nothing, and it makes the placement figures look worse than the truth. So everyone in this section gets one short message a month, a clear warning at six months, and at seven months the card moves to the archive. Nothing is ever deleted. The archive stays searchable and one tap brings a card back to the front.
Which qualifications lead to a first post, in plain numbers.
Absorption rate by institution, by field and by programme, counting graduate trainees alone, with universities kept separate from polytechnics and the other colleges.
As at 5 Oct 2026, 13:57. Method version 2026.07.1. Groups smaller than 8 people are not given a rate.
Loading cards
A person looking for their first post after college is among the easiest people in this market to exploit. So the public card shows the programme, the institution and how long the person has been waiting, and nothing that identifies them. Only a registered employer can open the record, and even then the name and the contact details are withheld until the person personally accepts the introduction.
