About the role

VACANCY: FAMILY DRIVER & HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANT

We are seeking a mature, trustworthy, responsible and well-organised individual to join a private household as a Family Driver & Household Assistant.

The primary responsibility will be the safe and reliable transportation of teenage schoolgirls, alongside assisting with the day-to-day running of the household.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport children to and from school and other scheduled activities.
  • Run household errands.
  • Purchase groceries and household supplies.
  • Prepare and cook family meals as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of household expenditure, receipts and petty cash.
  • Assist with household budgeting and balancing expenses.
  • Support the general organisation and smooth running of the household.

Requirements

  • Valid Zimbabwean driver's licence and clean driving record.
  • Proven driving experience and excellent road safety awareness.
  • Mature, responsible, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Comfortable working with teenage girls, with a strong commitment to their safety and wellbeing.
  • Good cooking and household management skills.
  • Good numerical skills and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Honest, discreet, punctual and able to work independently.
  • Traceable references from previous employers.
