Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate workshop operations to ensure maximum equipment availability.
- Plan and allocate maintenance and repair work for heavy mobile equipment and plant.
- Monitor workshop productivity, quality standards, and safety compliance.
- Manage artisans, technicians, and workshop support staff.
- Ensure effective utilization of tools, equipment, and workshop resources.
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
Requirements
- National Certificate in Diesel Plant Fitting, Motor Mechanics, or related technical field.
- Journeyman/Class One Trade Certificate in a relevant discipline.
- Valid Class 4 Driver's Licence.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in construction or mining environments.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and workshop operations
