Service Advisor

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Service Advisor at Duly Motors. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle servicing and repairs, maximising after-sales revenue and ensuring efficient workshop operations in line with OEM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive customers, assess vehicle service requirements and accurately prepare workshop job cards.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, diagnosis and repairs with the Workshop Controller and technicians.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates and obtain customer authorisation before commencing work.
• Achieve monthly labour sales, service revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify opportunities for additional service sales, genuine parts and accessories.
• Monitor work in progress (WIP) and ensure timely completion, invoicing and closure of job cards.
• Maintain regular communication with customers on repair progress, costs and delivery timelines.
• Ensure compliance with OEM warranty procedures, workshop SOPs and quality standards.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels.
• Maintain accurate service records and submit daily workshop performance reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Service Advisor within an established automotive dealership.
• Sound technical knowledge of motor vehicle servicing, diagnosis and repair processes.
• Experience with OEM warranty procedures and dealership management systems.
• Excellent communication, customer relationship management and problem-solving skills.
