Operations Manager

Our Client, a leading provider of signage, branding, printing, fabrication and installation solutions, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, production and installation teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to high quality standards and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee daily production and installation operations.
• Schedule jobs, staff and equipment, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Manage and motivate production/installation teams and monitor performance.
• Liaise with clients, conduct site visits, prepare quotations and ensure excellent customer service.
• Oversee manufacturing, signage, printing, fabrication, construction or related operations.
• Assist with costing, procurement and resource planning.
• Monitor project progress, resolve operational challenges and continuously improve processes.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Operations/Production Management, Business Management, Project Management or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience running a production or installation team.
• Experience in manufacturing, signage, printing, fabrication, construction or a similar industry.
• Strong design skills and experience using Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW (or ability to learn quickly).
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand basic costing.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A trade or technical qualification is an advantage, but not essential if you have a strong track record in managing people, clients and production.
