Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee underwriting, claims, marketing and administration.
  • Implement strategies, policies, business plans and budgets.
  • Manage IPEC compliance, regulatory returns and inspections.
  • Maintain risk controls; monitor financial performance, capital and solvency.
  • Drive growth, product development and distribution.
  • Ensure fair policyholder treatment, timely claims and complaints handling.
  • Develop staff; report to management and Board; implement Board resolutions.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree or diploma in Insurance, Risk Management, Management, Actuarial Science, Economics or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years in insurance management.
  • MBA an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of insurance operations, governance and IPEC requirements.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication and organisational skills; integrity and sound judgement.
