About the role
We are currently seeking for a Plant Shift Supervisor with great communication skills, an excellent team player who is highly safety conscious and self-motivated. The Plant Shift Supervisor will manage the planning, leading, organising and controlling of the production sections and to comply with the company's SHE Systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all plant operations during shift -crushing, screening, washing, stockpiling.
- Ensure production targets, yield and quality specs are met
- Lead and manage a team of operators, and general hands
- Enforce SHEQ, PPE and Zero Harm policy-conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments
- Monitor plant equipment, log downtime, coordinate maintenance
- Complete shift reports, production logs and handover to next shift
- Ensure compliance with NEC Mining, EMA and Mines & Minerals Act regulations
Requirements
- National Diploma /Degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in coal processing plant /CHPP/heavy industry -coal experience is a must
- Experience supervising a shift of 10+ people
- Strong knowledge of dense medium separation, crushers, screens conveyors
- Valid First Aid, SHE, certificates - added advantage
- Able to work shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
- Based in / willing to relocate to Hwange
