Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete production line of livestock block-licks, mineral supplements, and medicinal/medicated feeds and other livestock feeds.
- Manage raw material sourcing, formulation adherence, mixing processes, and quality control.
- Ensure optimal operation, maintenance, and safety of processing machinery and plant infrastructure.
- Collaborate with research and technical teams to develop and refine innovative livestock nutritional and therapeutic feed products.
- Manage stock levels, supply chain logistics, and cost-effective production scheduling.
- Supervise plant staff and enforce strict occupational health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Production and Technology/Animal Science, Feed Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' supervisory or management experience in feed manufacturing or agro-processing plant operations.
- Expertise in feed formulation, mixing technology, and quality control protocols.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and operational efficiency skills.
