About the role
Our client is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their workshop. The successful applicant will have strong diagnostic skills and extensive knowledge working on light vehicles, with particular experience preferred on Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda (and similar makes).

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out accurate fault diagnosis using modern diagnostic equipment and technical data
- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical, mechanical, and electronic issues
- Complete inspections, servicing, and maintenance to a high standard
- Identify parts and recommend repairs based on findings
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues and customers as required
- Follow workshop procedures, health and safety policies, and quality standards
Requirements
- 5 years Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician (or equivalent role)
- Extensive working knowledge of light vehicle systems (especially Toyota, Nissan, Mazda)
- Strong fault-finding ability and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret data, codes, and repair information effectively
- Experience using diagnostic software/tools (e.g., Techstream/Launch/Autel or similar)
- Relevant qualifications and/or workshop training
- MOT testing experience (where applicable)
