About the role
- Plan, coordinate, allocate, and supervise maintenance activities and technical projects to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of electrical distribution systems, substations, transformers, switchgear and standby power systems.
- Manage HVAC, precision cooling and air conditioning systems for offices, data centres, vaults and critical facilities.
- Lead electrical, electronics and HVAC projects, including installations, upgrades and refurbishments.
- Conduct inspections, technical audits, and condition assessments to ensure equipment safety, compliance, and optimal performance.
- Develop, implement, and review engineering standards, technical procedures, and best practices to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate equipment, systems, and resource acquisitions.
- Identify training needs, develop competency frameworks, and ensure staff remain compliant with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations to Senior Management on maintenance performance, technical issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage technical services budgets, asset lifecycles and capital projects.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and other facility management tools to monitor asset performance, maintenance history and lifecycle costs.
- Resolve operational and technical challenges while promoting the efficient use of resources and ongoing process improvement.
- Lead, mentor and develop technical teams while driving innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide support for mission-critical assignments involving electrical, electronic, and air-conditioning systems, and undertake any related duties as assigned by management from time to time.
