About the role

Evenflow is expanding its Environment, Sustainability and Climate Resilience team and is seeking a Space, Environmental & Geospatial Consultant to support impactful projects at the intersection of space, geospatial technologies, environmental sustainability and climate resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing policy analyses, stakeholder outreach, co-design of space-based solutions, socio-economic studies, cost-benefit analyses and impact assessments.
  • Conducting market analyses, including value chain analyses, competitive landscape assessments and monitoring current and future trends.
  • Contributing to Evenflow's strategic work at the intersection of Earth Observation and geospatial AI.
  • Analysing the European geospatial policy framework, standards, data services and emerging supply and demand for GeoAI.
  • Developing business plans, commercialisation and market entry strategies for applications or programmes such as Galileo, Copernicus and Govsatcom.
  • Engaging users of space solutions, documenting their requirements and translating them into concrete adoption plans.
  • Supporting end-to-end project management and consortium coordination.
  • Drafting reports, strategic roadmaps and action plans.
  • Supporting business development activities, from opportunity monitoring to end-to-end proposal management, depending on interests and abilities.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of consulting experience within the environmental or geospatial sectors, serving EU institutions, Member State institutions, major corporates and/or high-tech-focused R&D activities such as Horizon Europe.
  • Strong ability to work within tight timeframes, coordinate inputs across partners and interact with clients.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis and synthesising findings in reports.
  • A strong academic background in economics, science, engineering or business.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of larger teams.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, equivalent to C2 level.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Legal authorisation to work in the European Union.
