GENERAL MANAGER - FARM OPERATIONS

Location: Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Group Executive / CEO

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our integrated agricultural operation comprising the Farm, Hatchery, Feedmill, Workshop, Fleet and Technical Services. This is a key leadership role for a hands-on, commercially minded individual with a passion for operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across farm, hatchery, feedmill, workshop and technical services.
• Ensure efficient production, high product quality and cost control.
• Drive maintenance excellence and maximum equipment availability.
• Manage budgets and financial performance.
• Lead, develop and motivate multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ensure biosecurity, safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Agriculture, Animal Science, Agricultural Management, Agribusiness, Poultry Science, Agricultural Engineering or related field.
• Postgraduate qualification (an advantage).
• Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in commercial farming or integrated agricultural operations.
• Proven experience in a senior management role.
• Experience with hatchery and/or feedmill operations (highly desirable).
• Experience managing workshop, fleet or maintenance functions.
• Valid and clean driver's licence.
