The right to organise, bargain collectively and strike is constitutional
Collective bargaining. Section 65
In plain words
The Constitution gives every worker the right to fair and safe labour practices, fair pay, to form and join a trade union, to bargain collectively, and to strike, except in essential services.
Because these are constitutional rights, a provision in the Labour Act or in a contract that takes them away can be challenged. The essential services exception is defined in the Labour Act and covers work whose interruption would endanger life, personal safety or health.
Applies to: Every worker in Zimbabwe
