Business Analysis & Requirements Engineering\n•\tLead requirements elicitation through workshops, interviews, focus groups, and process mapping sessions.\n•\tAnalyse AS-IS and design TO-BE business processes using BPMN and flowcharts.\n•\tProduce high-quality documentation: Business Requirements Document (BRD), Functional Specification Document (FSD), System Requirements Specification (SRS), and user stories with acceptance criteria.\n•\tMaintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).\nB. User Experience Research (UXR) & Design Support\n•\tConduct User Experience Research (UXR), including user interviews, surveys, persona development, journey mapping, and usability studies.\n•\tTranslate user needs and pain points into intuitive system workflows and wireframes in collaboration with UI/UX designers.\n•\tValidate designs with users to ensure the bespoke system is user-friendly and fit-for-purpose, particularly for Payroll and Pensions users.\n•\tChampion user-centric design principles throughout the SDLC.\nC. System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Management\n•\tManage activities across the full SDLC (Waterfall/Agile-Hybrid) for bespoke system development.\n•\tWork collaboratively with Architects, Developers, and QA teams in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups.\n•\tSupport solution design, data mapping, and integration requirements.\nD. System Demos, UAT & Stakeholder Management\n•\tPlan and facilitate system demos/show-and-tell sessions for business stakeholders, product owners, and executive management at key milestones.\n•\tDevelop UAT strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts.\n•\tCoordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage defect triage, and obtain formal sign-off.\n•\tManage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication between business and technical teams.\nE. Go-Live, Hypercare & Post-Implementation Support\n•\tLead go-live readiness activities, including training material development, end-user training, and cutover support.\n•\tProvide post go-live hypercare, Level 2 application support, and root cause analysis for issues.\n•\tDrive continuous improvement and change management initiatives.\n\nRequirements\n•\tBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, BBS & Computer Science, BBMIT, or related field (Master’s an advantage).\n•\tMinimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in bespoke/custom system development; Payroll and Pensions domain experience is mandatory.\n•\tPMI-PBA or IIBA certification (CBAP/CCBA/ECBA) required; Agile/Scrum certification an advantage.\n•\tProficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Balsamiq/Figma, and MS Office Suite.\n\nCore Competencies\n•\tStrong UX research and human-centred design mindset.\n•\tExpert requirements documentation and process modelling skills.\n•\tExcellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and system demonstration abilities.</p>","identifier":{"@type":"PropertyValue","name":"ipcjobs.org","value":"IPCJ-001717"},"datePosted":"2026-10-05","validThrough":"2026-10-12T21:59:59.000Z","employmentType":"CONTRACT","hiringOrganization":{"@type":"Organization","name":"A leading ICT and IT services and consulting company based in Harare."},"jobLocation":{"@type":"Place","address":{"@type":"PostalAddress","addressLocality":"Harare","addressRegion":"Harare","addressCountry":"ZW"}},"directApply":true}
